Unsafe

College athlete suicide rates have doubled and 2 CFB players die each year because the NCAA "denies a legal duty to protect"

Unfair

College athletes work over 50 hours/week in-season and earn less than $10/hour while the NCAA President earns $3M/year

Unsustainable

Only 7% of colleges comply with Title IX and the Supreme Court has ruled that the NCAA's business model is "flatly illegal"

No Voice in $2.8B Settlement

No Voice in the $2.8B Settlement

If the settlement is approved in April, it will award former athletes ~$2.8B in damages and allow schools to share up to $20.5M a year with future athletes — but it was negotiated without athlete voices.

No Olympic Protections

The NCAA will impose strict roster limits that replace scholarship limits, which will result in large roster cuts

No Title IX Protections

Over 90% of the $2.8B damages will be awarded to men while women have no guaranteed share of future revenues

No Economic Protections

Players have no economic protections or guarantees, so the NCAA plans to reject NIL deals from collectives worth over $600
